Obituary

Sidor, Janet Louise, 80, Johnstown, passed away August 1, 2021, at Arbutus Park Manor. Born January 27, 1941, to the late Wilbur and Maude (Link) Decker. Preceded in death by son, Frank Andrew Sidor and brothers, Robert Decker (Linda); Donald Decker; and William Decker (Linda). Survived by children, Sherri Sivec (Michael); Patricia DeRosa (Vincent); Dawn Yeager (Michael); Charles Sidor Jr. (Jackie); 18 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; sisters, Dolores Alfaro (Anthony); Evelyn Ficken (Robert); numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. Janet was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. She enjoyed watching soap operas, The Price is Right, doing crosswords, and reading tabloids. Janet had a beautiful soul. She was the most loving, caring, and unselfish person on earth. She was our mother and forever our friend. Our hearts are broken forever. At Janet’s request, services will be held privately.
