Obituary

Hoffman, Jeffery L. “Jepper”, 52, Strongstown, went home to God on April 11, 2014. Preceded in death by his parents, William C. “Hoke,” Patricia R. “Momma Hang” (Altimus) Hoffman and his brother Gregory W Hoffman. Jeffery is survived by his loving siblings Diane (Larry) Byerly, Linda (Wayne) MacEwan, Janet (Martin) Miller, Jeffrey Hoffman, Jean (Dave) Miller, Curtis Hoffman and numerous adoring nieces and nephews.

Jepper was a mechanic, welder, carpenter, jack-of-all-trades, and one of last real mountain men. He lived life completely unbound and loved being in the bush, riding motorcycles, quads, and anything with wheels, fishing, and being with his friends and family. Visitation will be held at the Hoffman family farm 403 Bethel Rd., Ebensburg on Saturday April 12th from 11am to 4pm, alongside his big brother Greg. It will be followed by a procession to Faith United Methodist Cemetery in Belsano where a graveside service will be held with Pastor Clayton D. Harriger. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Jeffrey L. Hoffman Donation Account at First National Bank, Ebensburg, PA.
