Obituary

Shaffer, Jolene Marie “Jo”, 72, passed away quickly and comfortably surrounded by family that loved her June 13, 2025, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born October 12, 1952, to the late Joseph Bunt and Arlene Norris. Raised by and preceded in death by grandparents, Clarence and Bessie Bunt. Also preceded in death by siblings, Lisa, Stephanie, and Mike. Survived by husband, Roy Shaffer; children, James and Melissa Shaffer; siblings, Marsha and Ron Bunt; grandchildren, Quinn, Emily, Scarlett, Jackson, Cody, Christopher, and Caitlyn; and nine great grandchildren. Jo’s greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family and friends. Family and friends will be received Thursday June 19th from 4-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. Interment to be held privately.
