Obituary

Deoskey, Joseph  E., 68, Northern Cambria, passed away August 29, 2017 at UPMC Altoona.  Born September, 8 1948 in Spangler, PA, son of Joseph F. and Emily (Yonkoske) Deoskey.  He is preceded in death by his parents.  Survived by his wife Pamela (Burkhart) Deoskey, his children, Nikole Gentile and her husband Michael, Douglassville, PA; Shannon Hinzo and her husband Thomas, Imperial Beach, CA; his grandchildren, Luke Gentile, Adam Gentile, Jack Hinzo, Joseph Hinzo, and Lauren Hinzo; his siblings Robert Deoskey, Delores Magulick, and Carol Olenchick; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and family members.  Joseph served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was a retired Coal Miner, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and enjoyed gardening, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
