Obituary

Boring, Joseph M., 78, of Johnstown, passed away on August 19, 2024. Born November 12, 1945, son of the late George Sr. and Thelma (Lauffer) Boring. Preceded in death by his 2 brothers, George E. (Becky) Boring and David E. (Brenda) Boring. Survived by loving wife of 55 years, Minnie (Harnett) Boring; son, Joseph (Stephanie) Boring; daughter, Amanda J. (Clark) Bornais; and sister, Ruth Gustkey; 3 grandchildren, Isaac, Lydia, and Alexandra; and great-granddaughter, Oakley. Joseph was a retired crane operator from Bethlehem Steel. He also proudly served our country as a U.S. Marine from 1967-1971. Joseph will be deeply missed by those in his life.
