Obituary

Kathryn “Kitty” Stewart, 75, of Johnstown passed away January 4, 2024. Born December 30, 1948 in Johnstown; daughter of the late Patrick and Catherine (Goetz) Greene. Also preceded in death by her husband, William J. Stewart, and a son, Patrick Stewart. Special uncle and aunt, Robert and Lucille (Goetz) Murray, father and mother-in-law, Charles and Pauline (Bowman) Stewart, brother-in-law, Richard Stewart and sister-in-law, Nancy Stewart. Survived by son, Christopher Stewart and wife Kimberly of Pittsburgh, grandchildren, Christian, Rylie, and Addison Stewart; daughter-in-law, Cyndi Iseman-Stewart DDS, Shanksville; sister, LuAnn Hamen (Ronald), Camp Hill, Michele Brown (Michael) Monmouth Junction, NJ; brother, Michael Greene, Harrisburg, brother-in-law, Frank Stewart and wife Deb, Damascus, MD; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Kitty retired from Western PA Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Inc.  She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a Pittsburgh Penguins fan. At her request there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Cambria or Somerset County Camp Cadet Programs.
