Smith, Kimberly D. “K.D.”, 49, Johnstown, died March 28, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Born November 25, 1965, in Johnstown; she was a daughter of W. Carl Smith and V. Lynne (Swanboro) Smith Simmons.  Preceded in death by her father; grandparents, Walter Smith and Russell and Virginia “Billie” Swanboro; cousins, Kirk Hughes and Robert Bellvia. Survived by her mother, V. Lynne Simmons, Summerhill, siblings, Kevin Smith, Sidman, and his son Russell; Jeff (Lorrie) Smith, Summerhill, and their children, Ashley and Carl; Ryan (Kimberly) Smith, Summerhill, and their children, Brady, Calli, Cassi, and Remi; Gini (Mike) Gray, Summerhill and their children, Makennah, Mikel, and Marleigh;  Greg (Mandy) Simmons, Summerhill and their children, Breanna, Maddiesyn and Marissa; paternal grandmother, Della Smith, Sidman; aunts, Sally Jo (Douglas) Hughes, Johnstown, Diane (Dominic) Bellvia, Summerhill; cousins, Kristi Wilt, Kelly Kitto, Kory Hughes, Keri Jo Fortson, Dawn Bellvia-McCall; and her guardian angel, Butch Smajda.  Kimberly was a guidance counselor at Greater Johnstown School District for 15 years. Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc 1521 Frankstown Rd. where a memorial service will follow at 8 p.m., Rev. John Palko officiating.
