Obituary

Morgan, Lawrence, 91, Johnstown, died May 29, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. Born August 5, 1922 in Clymer, son of the late Ellrie and Thursie (Brothers) Morgan. Preceded in death by 1st wife, Clara Isabell (Hopkins) and 2nd wife, Jane E. (Frombach). Survived by children, Patricia, married to Jim Bollin, Westcliffe, CO; Larry Morgan and wife, Gail, Birmingham, AL; George Morgan and wife, Joann, Portage; Susan, married to Wayne Seguin, Clarington, PA; Rebecca, married to Charles Hathaway, Rose Bud, AR; David Morgan and wife, Becky, Terrell, TX and Diane, married to Darin Brown, Johnstown; step-children, Donna, married to Jim Amigh, Vinco; Connie, married to Csaba Toth, CA; Diane Brodmerkel, Pittsburgh and Dennis Frombach and wife, Georgia, Vinco. Also survived by 21 grandchildren; 8 step grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 25 step great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Larry was a lineman for REA, where he was on the Board of Directors, a member of St Paul’s Lutheran Church, Mundy’s Corner and a US Army Veteran of WWII. He was also a member of the Greater Jackson Sportsmans Club and the NRA and loved hunting, especially in Montana, and fishing. Friends will be received from 6 to 8pm Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Sunday at the Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., where funeral service will be held at 10am Monday. Rev. Kravetz, officiating. Interment will be held at Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg. Graveside military honors will be conducted by the Menoher Post 155 Ritual Team.
