Obituary

Lee D. May, 95, Johnstown, PA, passed away on June 22, 2025. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Zelma May; son, Rick May; daughter, Cindy May; son-in-law, Gene Clifford; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters. Survived by his daughters, Lynne Clifford and Ginger Rose (Mike), daughter-in-law, Yvonne May; grandchildren, Janpaul, Aaron, Jessica, Amber, Valerie, Bernadette (Dan), Bryan (Jaime), and Garrett; great grandchildren, Brittany (Nate), Kelsy, Daimen, Gitana, Bailey, Orion, Liam, Otos, Lee, Kristifer, and Chloe; great great grandchild, Saylor; brothers, Robert May, Harold May, and Howard May; sisters, Dorothy Blough and Geraldine Wentz. Lee loved cooking family meals around the holidays. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, tying his own fishing flies, and gardening. Lee retired from Bethlehem Steel and from Riblett’s Bus Line. He will be deeply missed by all of his family. Friends will be received on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 10:00 until the time of service at 12:00 at Hindman Funeral Homes, 1521 Frankstown Road, Johnstown, PA 15902. Following services, Lee will be laid to rest at Grandview Cemetery.
