Obituary
Lehman-Clemenson, Leslie Annette, 62, passed away November 17, 2020. Born November 12, 1958, in Johnstown, PA, daughter of Ralph Edwin “Ed” and Gertrude Dorothea “Dot” (Ribblett) Lehman. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by husband, Bradford L. Clemenson; daughter, Hannah E. Clemenson and partner, Benjamin Freedland; sister, Deborah G. Cuppett and husband, Bill; mother-in-law, Betty Clemenson; brother-in-law, Gregory Clemenson; sisters-in-law, Kimberly Yantus and Tina Varner; and many wonderful family and friends. An avid traveler and card player, Leslie will be missed for her sense of humor and adventure, her kindness and charm, and her great cooking. She reached a personal goal in 2019 when she visited the last of the 48 continental states. Leslie also traveled to the British Isles, France, Italy, Switzerland, Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. She was a member of Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren. A 1976 graduate of Richland High School, she attended Bauder College, Miami, FL, and was certified in mechanical and architectural drafting in 1979 at Greater Johnstown Career and Technology Center. Formerly employed by Wheeler Brothers in Somerset, Conemaugh Physicians Group, Laurel Highlands Medical Consultants, VSE Corp., Aeroflex Systems and Murdock Enterprises. Volunteered for various community organizations. Due to COVID-19, a private service will be held for immediate family and a memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Windber Hospice or to the Leslie Lehman-Clemenson Fund at the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies, 216 Franklin St., Suite 400, Johnstown, PA, 15901; this fund will support the Johnstown Area Heritage Association, downtown Johnstown beautification, and Nathan’s Divide Environmental Education Center.
