Obituary

Pileski, Linda Lee, 70, was wrapped in God’s loving arms on July 12, 2020. Born December 12, 1949 in Johnstown, daughter of Louise and George Shaffer. Preceded in death by parents; son, Felix Pileski Jr.; niece, Lisa Hudack; brother-in-law, James Hawkins. Survived by loving husband of 53 years, Felix Pileski; loving daughters, Lindsay Malkin; Melissa Hootman married to Michael; grandsons, Dylan Pileski married to Hannah; Kyle Wirick; mother of grandchildren, Dustyn Wirick married to Pat; loving sister, Rose Hawkins and sister, Karen Ling; brother-in-law, David Pileski married to Linda; loving niece, Lois McAneny married to Joe; and several other nieces, nephews, family, friends, and loved ones. Linda was the most devoted and loving wife and mother. Linda’s greatest love in this life was her family and time spent together. She had a deep love for music which carried over to her children and her grandson. Some of her most cherished moments were sitting around with her family laughing and singing while her grandson Dylan played songs on his guitar. Her strength, unconditional love and beauty was and will always be immeasurable. She will forever be cherished, loved, and missed beyond words. Per Linda’s request, there will be no funeral service. In her battle with cancer and many other health issues, her family suggests for those who wish, to make memorial contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
