Obituary

Evans, Lois Jane (Sheldon), 90, of Johnstown, PA. Passed away at Laurelwood Care Center, going to be with her Lord on December 11, 2018. Born June 2, 1928 in Cambria County,, daughter of the late Herbert and Helen (Lee) Sheldon. Wife of 47 years of the late Calvin Evans Sr. Beloved mother of Caroline May, Betty Black, Vickie Banaska, Roseanne Harley, Johnstown, PA; Calvin Evans Jr., Pittsburgh; and Joyce Van Breemen, Frederick, MD; all of whom survived her. Also survived by her sisters, Barbara, Margaret, Carol, Shirley, and her brother Charles. Lois was blessed with 14 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Friends will be received on Saturday December 15, 2018 from 12 PM until the time of memorial service at 1 PM at Hindman Funeral Home, 1521 Frankstown Road, Johnstown, PA 15902. The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and aides at Laurelwood.
