Owens, Lois Jean, 81, Johnstown, died January 6, 2019 at Laurel Wood Care Center. Born April 22, 1937 in Johnstown; daughter of the late Walter T. and Mildred (Rowles) Boltz. Preceded in death by sister, Patricia McTigue and brother Gerald Boltz. Survived by husband, Lawrence E, Owens; children, Mary Ann Shostek, and husband, Matthew, Mesa, AZ; Gary P. Owens, and wife, Mary, TX; Scott L. Owens, Yoe, PA; granddaughter, Jessica Broxterman, and husband Christopher, OR; great-granddaughter, Ada Jean Broxterman; sister, Paulette Ickes, NV; and sister-in-law, Carol Boltz, OH. Friends received Saturday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 1521 Frankstown Rd. followed by a funeral mass celebrated at 1 p.m. at St. John Gualbert Cathedral.
