Obituary

Roth, Lois Y., 84, Johnstown, went home to be with the Lord Jan. 9, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Sept. 7, 1931, Johnstown, daughter of the late Allen E. and Gladys I. (Kelly) Hostetler. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Ronald; daughter, Denise Bideshi; granddaughter, Lahela Bideshi; brother, Leslie Hostetler; and son-in-law, David Bideshi. Survived by her children, Sherry Tressler, Grant Pass, OR; Lorrie Roth married to Craig Massarelli, Greensboro, NC; Wendy Roth, Barker, NY; Christy Roth married to Andrew Grech, Johnstown; four grandchildren, Dustin Tressler, David Bideshi, Mario and Joy Massarelli; sister, Carole Beckley; nieces, Tracy Schaeffer and husband, Bob; Kim Jacoby and husband, Sam; and her furry four-legged grandchildren. Lois was a member and volunteer of many organizations, lived her life to the fullest, and enjoyed traveling. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday January 13, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Elton Zion United Methodist Church, where she was an active member, Pastor Daryl Penrod, officiating. Lois said to tell all her friends and family, “Goodbye.” In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Elton Zion United Methodist Church.
