Obituary

Loretta Marie Kotch, 86, Windber, passed away on April 24, 2026. Born on March 17, 1940, to the late Joseph and Helen (Valent) Secora. Preceded in death by loving husband, Joseph J. Kotch; brothers, Joseph Secora, Stephen Secora, and John Secora; and sisters-in-law, Cecila and Judy Secora. Survived by siblings, Gerald T. Secora and Pamela Walker (Albert); children, Joseph J. Kotch, Jr., (Tracey), Newport, Kevin Kotch (Marlene),Bon air, Debra Miller, Lancaster, and Eric Kotch (Mellisa), Davidsville; grandchildren, Shane (Hannah), Kassie (Branden), Lindsai (Dylan), Thomas (Laura), Jessica (Paul), Isabella, and Sarah; step children, Renee and James Dallas (Samantha); great grandchildren, Aliveah, Ryder, Conner, Killian, Jenzen, Bryson, Rylee, Giulianna, Savannah, Claire, Paige, James Dean, Layla. Loretta enjoyed playing bingo, listening to polka music, reading, cooking, baking and watching cooking shows and murder mysteries. Above all else she loved her family dearly and will be deeply missed by them. A viewing will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 9:00am until the time of service at 12:00pm with Fr. Callistus Elue officiating at Hindman Funeral Homes, 1521 Frankstown Road. Loretta’s interment will occur at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
