Obituary

Louise M. Miller, 85, of Hastings passed away June 27, 2024 at St. Clair Hospital. Born August 27, 1938 in Hastings; a daughter of the late Hilary and Marcelline (Bender) Kibler. Also preceded in death by her husband, Irvin J. “Bud” Miller; sister, Ethelda Ott; brothers, Duane Kibler and Paul Kibler. Survived by sons, Douglas Miller and wife Carrie (Harteis) of Cecil; Shannon Miller of Bridgeville; grandchildren, Blake, Nathan, Lauren, Adam, Megan, and Leah; many nieces and nephews. Louise had worked at the dress factories in Patton and Hastings. She also worked at Haida Manor. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. She loved gardening and flowers and spending time with her family. Her family and friends will always remember her beautiful laugh. Family and friends will be received Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 6 to 9 p.m., Easly-Hindman Funeral Home, 333 Beaver St., Hastings, PA 16646. Services will be held Wednesday July 3, 2024, at 11 a.m., St. Bernard Catholic Church, Fr. Thaddeus Rettger O.S.B., officiating. Viewing one hour prior at the church. Burial at St. Bernard Cemetery.
