Obituary

Mabry Allen Brown, 42, of Grenada, MS, passed away on February 14, 2025, in Johnstown, PA. Allen was born on December 4, 1982, in Grenada, MS to William Donald Brown and Susan Ables Ritchey. He was a son, brother, husband and father who is described as devoted and loving. He enjoyed playing horseshoes with his dad Dale, having fun with his daughters hunting and fishing, building things with his hands, hunting for antiques of many kinds, and spending time with his family. Allen proudly served in the Army National Guard and was deployed in Operation Enduring Freedom. Allen is preceded in death by his father, William Donald Brown; his maternal grandparents, Percy and Frances Ables; and his paternal grandparents, William and Emma Brown. Allen is survived by his wife, Jennifer Kelley Brown; his sons, Gage Kendall and Grant Brown; daughters, Laura Brooke Brown and Ashlee Elizabeth Brown; a future grandchild; his mother, Susan Ables Ritchey (Dale); brothers, Shane Brown and Dale Ritchey; sister, Melinda Ritchey; numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. Funeral services to be held at McKibben and Guinn in Grenada, MS. Donations can be given to the funeral home to be disbursed to the family. Allen will be deeply missed, but will be remembered forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
