Obituary

Duman, Margaret Myrna, 88, formerly of Hastings, passed away peacefully on Sunday at Cambria Care Center, Ebensburg, PA. She was born May 22, 1929 in Altoona, daughter of the late Thomas J. and Jeannette M. (Olmes) Gill. On July 2, 1949 she married Leonard A Duman in Chest Springs. He preceded her in death on May 15, 2010. Surviving are six children: Susan (Bobby) Wells of Pasadena, MD; Richard (Denice) of Summerhill; James (Cheri) of Cherry Tree; Mark (Mary) of Indiana; Allan (Joanna) of Duncansville; and Michael (Christine) of Hastings; seventeen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers Thomas, Raymond and Donald all of Altoona; and her sister Jeannette Natcher of Ebensburg. At the request of the family, there will be no public viewing. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018 St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church in Hastings, PA. Father Thaddeus E. Rettger, O.S.B. officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the AseraCare Hospice, 100 CTC Dr. #110, Johnstown, PA 15904.
