Obituary

Swete, Margaret “Aunt MAC”, 90, died January 26, 2018 at her home. Born January 18, 1928 to the late Andrew and Pauline (Ulenec) Appley. Preceded in death by husband, Daniel Swete; and siblings, George Appley; Anne Appley; Mary Stinich; Julie Kaminsky; Irene Magistro; and Helen Pencola. MAC was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her children, Mark Swete; Melissa Ann Swete, both of Johnstown; granddaughters, Jessica and Dianna Swete, both of Kansas City, MO; friends; relatives, nieces, nephews; special nieces, Paulette Balog and Patricia Black; and good friend, Pauline Springer. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday February 1st, at Church of the Transfiguration. Rev. Robert C. Hall, officiating.
