Obituary

Yoder, Marian Mae “Mim”, 91, of Windber, passed away April 23, 2025. Born July 19, 1933, to the late Wresley H. and Irene (Thomas) Berkey. Also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Yoder; granddaughter, Ashley Renea Yoder; sisters, Bernice Ott, Neva Wise, Florence Brick, Olive Baker, and Lois Swanger; and brothers, Leonard Berkey, Wresley H. Berkey.

She survived by her sons, Mark (Carolyn) Yoder and Harry Kent (Karen) Yoder. Also survived by sisters, Janet Kushto and Donna Koot; and brother, Marlin Berkey. Marian belonged to the Ridge Church of Brethren, where she was a Deacon at the church. She was also part of the women’s fellowship and was part of the ladies auxiliary to the Brethren Home. She also belonged to the Bluebird Society, where Harry and Mim spent countless hours making and putting Bluebird houses across Somerset County. She was also a big supporter of the President Donald Trump. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Family will receive friends for a gathering Monday, April 28^th  from 4pm to 7pm, and again Tuesday, April 29^th from 10am till the time of service at 11am at Hindman Funeral Homes, 1521 Frankstown Road, Johnstown, PA 15902. The memorial service will be officiated by Pastor Wesley Yoder.
