Obituary

Rayba, Mary Ellen, 83, Hastings, peacefully passed away on March 22, 2025. Born April 2, 1941, daughter of the late Paul B. and Mary (Chorynak) Gresco. Preceded in death by loving husband, David C. Rayba. Survived by son, David P. Rayba; granddaughter, Jessica L. Rayba; and greatgrandchildren, Tanner J. Holtz and Raegan M. Holtz. Mary was employed with the Barnsboro shirt factory, then later retired at Haida Manor. She was an active member of Saint Bernards Parish in Hastings. She will be fondly remembered for her patience, compassion, honesty, and kindness. She was a devoted mother, Bubba, and friend. Mary Ellen loved and lived her life through simple pleasures. She enjoyed talking with friends, attending Tanner and Raegan’s sports and school events, and spending time with her family. On Friday, March 28^th, 2025, at 11A.M., there will be a celebration of her life held at Saint Bernards Church, 148 Beaver St., Hastings, PA 16646.
