Obituary

Rager, Mary Francis, 80, formerly of Johnstown, died peacefully Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Kinney’s Meadowview Home. Born April 28, 1934 in Johnstown; daughter of the late Clayton and Mary (Palliser) Rager. Mary, known to many as Aunt Franny, was the last surviving sibling. She is preceded in death by an infant brother and her sisters, Gwen Cobaugh, Evelyn Plows and Martha Crislip. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Johnstown First Brethren Church. Mary worked at the former Woolworth and McCrory stores when they were in downtown Johnstown. She greatly enjoyed her cats and crafts but her faith was the most important part of her life. At her request there will be no viewing.
Friends are invited to a memorial service Wednesday May 21, 2014 at the Forest Lawn Chapel.
