Obituary

McGuire, Mary K., 93, Johnstown, died May 25, 2015 at home. Born Nov. 28, 1921 to the late Samuel and Myrtle (Williams) Dick. Preceded in death by husband, Maurice McGuire; brothers, John, Robert, Sheldon, Eugene, Dewy, and Zane; sisters, Mildred Blough, Myrtle “Sis” Shaffer, and Maxine Walters; grandsons, Jeramie Moore and Bryan Koch; and great granddaughter, Alexis Holtzman. Survived by children, Shirley Duffield; Carolyn Holtzman (Pat), Camphill; David McGuire (Nori), Johnstown; Debra (Ron) Moore, Bridgeport; Barbara (Ochenrider) Currie (Jerry), Seward; sister-in-law, Alma Dick, Johnstown; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Mary was a member of Arbutus Church of the Brethren, Cover Hill Volunteer Fire Dept., Ladies Auxiliary, and Conemaugh Valley PTA, Richland Bowl.
