Obituary

CAMPAGNA, Michael A. 67, Johnstown, died October 9, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. Born January 18, 1946 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by father, Nicholas A. Campagna Sr. and brother, Charles Campagna.
Survived by mother, Barbara J. (Campagna) Kindler, Bedford; wife, Eileen A. (Sulosky) Campagna, Johnstown; sons, Michael A. Jr, and David M. and wife Jamie (Wolfe); grandson, Lucas Campagna; brothers, Nicholas A. Jr and wife Mary; John and wife Josephine (Marino); Joseph and wife Cheryl (Fye) and Anthony and sister, Ann, married to Dave Bowan.
Also survived by father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Helen Sulosky; sister-in-law, Irene married to Joe Chessa, FL; brothers-in-law, John Sulosky and wife, Lisa and Ron Sulosky and wife Julie; nephews, Joey and Anthony and loving pets, Abby, Chipper and Toby.
Michael was a U.S. Marine Corp. Veteran for 13 years and served 2 tours during the Vietnam War. He received National Defense Service Medal, a Purple Heart, Vietnam Service Medal with one Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Presidential Unit Citation. He was also a member Marine Corp League Detachment 287, the VFW Post 155 and a member of the Order of GTMO Defenders.
He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, yard work, vacationing and cruises and was a member of the Woodvale Olympic Club.

Friends received Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 1521 Frankstown Rd., “Exclusive Provider of Veterans and Family Memorial Care.” Military Honors will be performed by the Conemaugh Valley Detachment 287 Marine Corp League at 4pm.
