Obituary

Westover, Mildred B., 97, Westover, went to be with the Lord, December 30, 2014, at Miners Medical Center. Born July 18, 1917, in Fostoria, PA; she was a daughter of the late John and Jessie (Thomas) Morder. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband George, and her siblings. She is survived by her children, Mary Louise Westover, Westover, PA; Lewis Westover and wife Marion, Taylor, PA; Gwenvere Illig and husband Wilfred, Tyrone, PA; Ronald F. Westover, Westover, PA; Curtis K. Westover and his wife Joyce, Hillsboro, NJ; Lyle Westover and his wife Darlene, Distant, PA; Karen Williams and her husband Edward, Patton, PA; eighteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mildred worked as a seamstress at the Patton shirt factory for many years, she was a member of Golden Agers, The Bunko club, she enjoyed traveling, reading the bible, and had served a Sunday school teacher at Fairview Baptist church for several years. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Friday January 2, 2015 at the Easly-Hindman Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 333 Beaver Street, Hastings. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 am at Westover Baptist Church. Pastor Bolaji Wojuola officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, La Jose, PA.
