Obituary

White, Mildred J., 97, Johnstown, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2024, at Richland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born September 22, 1927, to the late Samuel and Elizabeth (Fyock) King. Survived by loving husband, Lewis White; children, David White (Katie); Drew White (Janet); Shelley Yurkovich (Christopher); Lisa Jones (Ed); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Sandra (Rhodes) Nafzinger. Mildred was a member of Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren. She loved animals, young children, gardening, baking, crafting, reading novels, and staying up late to finish watching a movie. Mildred will be sadly missed. Family would like to thank the staff at Harmony House and Richland Healthcare for their compassionate and attentive care. Family will receive friends Saturday October 26th from 9 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren. Pastor Rob Wolf, officiating.
