Obituary

Nancy Jane Gay, 91, Johnstown, passed away on January 4, 2026. Born on September 30, 1934, to the late Allen and Mary Louise (Zimmerman) Weyant. Preceded in death by loving husband, Walmer T. Gay, Jr., and son, Walmer T. Gay, III. Survived by daughter, Rebecca L. Gregory (William) of Johnstown, PA; son, David D. Gay (Robin) of Anderson, CA; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Nancy was a lifelong member of First Lutheran Church. She was involved in the Covenant Class, a Sunday Church School teacher, and managing the kitchen for special events. She was the president of the Westwood Elementary PTA and the Lutheran Home Auxiliary. Nancy also loved to travel to places like Greece, England, and Disney World. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
