Obituary

Roberts, Nedre Anne (VanScoyoc), 61, Johnstown, died November 29, 2016 at Conemaugh Palliative Care Unit. Born July 15, 1955, daughter to the late James E. and Colleen (Weisheirer) Van Scoyoc. Survived by daughter, Kari Ann (Ream) Ross and partner, Louis Ognibene; grandchildren: Shane, Jessica and Cory Ross; sisters, Jill A. VanScoyoc and Shelley M. VanScoyoc, married to David Goldenberg; and numerous friends and patients alike.  Nedre was employed by the Home Nursing Agency for over 20 years where she has cared for many. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Dec. 30, 2016, Saint Benedict Catholic Church, 2310 Bedford Street, at 10:00 a.m., Rev. David S. Peles, officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation be made to the Cambria County Humane Society in her name, as she also loved her cats very much.
