Obituary

Pamela Jo Shanfield, 66, Hastings, passed away on April 5, 2026. Born October 15, 1959, to the late Leroy and Nancy (Lefebure) Carpinello. Preceded in death by sons, Derek and Aaron Shanfield and sister, Doreen. Survived by husband, David Lee Shanfield; children, Jessica Petro (David), Allison Finet (Matthew), Sydney Shanfield (Jamie), and Devin Shanfield (Maygen); grandchildren, Sadie, Kinslee, Derek, Oren, Emmalynn, Lucas, Rory, Lincoln, and Willow; sister, Kimberly; brother, Kenneth; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pamela met life with strength, resilience, and a spirit that never gave up, even in the hardest of times. She found joy in the people she loved, and her friends, family, and faith were always the brightest of lights in her life. Family will receive friends on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 5:00 until the time of service at 7:00 at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home, 333 Beaver Street. Pamela will be laid to rest with family at Union Cemetery.
