Obituary

Pamela S. Trofino, 64, Johnstown passed away on December 26, 2025. Born August 10, 1961. Preceded in death by parents Joseph and Sarah (Lehman) Flori. Survived by loving husband of 32 years, Anthony J. Trofino and daughter, Alyssa Trofino, Johnstown, PA; sister, Robyn Walsh (Timothy) and nephew Dylan, Nanuet, New York. Pam was a graduate of Greater Johnstown Vo-Tech. A lifelong learner, Pam received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Education was important to her, and she valued the opportunities it provided throughout her life. Pam retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 2022 after 37 years of dedicated service. Her strong work ethic, integrity, and leadership left a lasting impact on colleagues and those she served. She took great pride in her career and the responsibility entrusted to her. Outside of work, Pam found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved traveling to the beach in Wildwood, New Jersey, and always looked forward to trips to Atlantic City. These outings brought her happiness and many cherished memories. Pam loved reading and constantly kept a book close by. No matter how dull the story, she refused to give up on any book before finishing it. Above all else, Pam cherished her family and friends. A devoted and loving wife and mother, she was deeply proud of her roots and took great pride in carrying on the family traditions passed down from her childhood for the last 27 years. Pam will be remembered for her kindness, loyalty, and the steady presence she provided to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Family will receive friends from 10 to 12p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Hindman Funeral Homes, 1521 Frankstown Road. Pam will be laid to rest privately at St. Anthony Cemetery, Geistown.
