Obituary
Rance Louallen, 82, Johnstown, passed away on December 3, 2025. Born on March 13, 1943, in Washington D.C. to the late Rance and Blanche (Thompson) Louallen. Preceded in death by siblings, Dawn Colon, Derrick Louallen, Angelia Louallen, Eddie Louallen, Stanley Louallen, and Sandra Louallen. Survived by his sons, Rance Louallen Wright and Jermaine Williams; siblings, Goldie Roberson, Michelle Brandford, Joseph Louallen, Deloris Louallen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Rance honorably served in our nation’s Army, reaching the rank of Seargent Louallen (E6). His hobbies included walking often, watching classic movies, and designing his own fashionable clothes. Rance was known to be a character and was always finding a way to be happy even when things were rough. He once said he should be a comedian because his jokes were that funny (only to him). Regardless you always laughed knowing he put time and effort into making you smile. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 10 until the time of service at 12 at Hindman Funeral Homes, 146 Chandler Avenue, Johnstown, PA 15906. Rance will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Arrangements in care of Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., “Exclusive Provider of Veterans and Family Memorial Care.” Condolences may be made at HindmanFuneralHomes.com.
