Schompert, Randy Lee, 62, Johnstown, passed away November 28, 2025, at Hilltop Heights Health and Rehab Center. Born June 28, 1963, to the late Ronald and Dorothy (Smith) Schompert Sr. Preceded in death by brothers, Ronald Carl Schompert Jr.; William Paul Schompert; and Gary Alan Schompert. Survived by daughter, Vaughna Rummell; brother, Brian Schompert and wife Tammy; granddaughter, Pruett Rummell; nieces and nephew, Amanda, Amber, and Ryan; step-niece, Samantha Eidem; and loyal friend, Jaime Canton and husband John. Randy was a paratrooper in the U.S. Army and a maintenance man for 17 years at the Cambria County Library. Randy was a big NASCAR fan. At Randy’s request there will be no viewing or service.
