Obituary

Rager, Randy S., 65, Johnstown, died March 7, 2014 at Windber Hospice. Born January 28, 1949 in Johnstown, son of the late Donald P. and Alberta M. (Bremer) Rager. Survived by wife of 42 years, Joetta L. (Sowa); son, Aaron and wife, Dana and daughter, Karianne, all of Johnstown. Also survived by grandchildren, Brendon; Ryleigh; Makenna; Jake; Brianna and Kendall, sister, Diane Fisher and numerous nieces and nephews. Randy was a maintenance assistant for the Church of the Brethren Home, a member of the Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship and a US Army Veteran. Randy was a jack of all trades, master of none. He loved hunting and fishing in his younger years and loved woodworking. He was a diehard Steelers Fan, “Awlright”. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. Friends are invited to a Home Going Service at 1pm Saturday March 15, 2014 at the Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship. Pastor Gary Tustin, officiating. Military honors will be provided by the VFW Post 155 Ritual Team. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Windber Hospice in Randy’s memory.
