Obituary

Oaks, Raymond H., 85, Johnstown, passed away June 7, 2025, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born July 27, 1939, to the late Raymond and Sara (Rager) Oaks. Survived by loving wife of 66 years, Joyce (Baumbaugh) Oaks; son, Darren R. Oaks; siblings, Richard Oaks; Karen Stem; and special friend, Skip. Ray loved planting and tending to his flowers. He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Alma Lodge #523, where he could be found spending his Friday evenings. Family will welcome friends June 12th from 12 p.m. until time of memorial service at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Community Church, 856 Benshoff Hill Rd., Johnstown, PA 15906.
