Obituary

Santoyo- Rebecca A. (Lawn), 77, of Johnstown, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Gallitzin, PA, the daughter of Michael William Lawn Jr. and Martha (Farabaugh) Lawn; preceded in death by her brothers, Michael William Lawn III, Donald Lawn, and Eugene Lawn. Survived by her devoted husband, Jesus (Jesse) Santoyo of 55 years; her daughters, Tricia married to Daniel Piszker, Herndon, VA, Tara married to Erik Connor, Johnstown, PA; grandchildren, Zachary, Brandon, Lauren and Aidan; sister, Mary Beth Lawn of Chester, PA; brother, Joseph Lawn, Johnstown, PA; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Becky was a 1966 graduate of Bishop Carroll HS. She retired from Penn State Cooperative Extension as a nutritional education advisor. She was an avid reader and enjoyed tending to her plants and gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Sts. Gregory & Barnabas church. The family would like to thank the staff of Interim Hospice for their wonderful care of Becky. Family will receive friends on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 at the Hindman Funeral Homes, 1521 Frankstown Road, Johnstown, PA. Additional viewing will be held from 11:00 to 12:30 at the funeral home on Saturday, August 2, 2025, prior to a funeral mass that begins at 1:00 at St. Benedict Church, 2310 Bedford Street, Johnstown, PA. Rebcca will be laid to rest at Oak Cemetery.
