Obituary

Fye, Richard O., 92, Salix, passed away February 17, 2021 at Richland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born September 17, 1928 to the late Russell and Annabelle (Walters) Fye. Preceded in death by wife, Vyerma (Carl) Fye and daughter, Cheryl Campagna and husband Joseph. Survived by children, Richard Fye Jr.; Gary Fye and wife Jackie; grandchildren, Michelle, Gary Jr., Shannon, and Joey; six great grandchildren; siblings, James and Jerry Burkhart; Susan Meyers; and special friend, Sherri. Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the St. Michael American Legion. He was an avid gardener, hunter, and fisherman. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in Richard’s memory to St. Michael American Legion.
