Obituary

Rick Snyder, 78, of Johnstown, passed away at Conemaugh Memorial Center on April 12, 2026. Born August 13,1947 to Elmer and Thelma (Shoemaker) Snyder. Proceeded in death by parents, brother Marlin, sisters Roberta (Jim) Jacoby, Sandy (Gene) Billetdeaux. Survived by his loving children, Mandy Snyder, Matthew Snyder, Sean Hegadus, sister Linda Jacoby, various nephews and nieces. As a young man, Rick worked as a route delivery driver for Dura Dry Cleaners. Years later he purchased the business and expanded it to serve Johnstown and the surrounding areas with dry cleaning, laundry, janitorial, and uniform rental services until his retirement in 2010.  Rick enjoyed spending time with family, friends, being outdoors, listening to various music generes, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State Football. Rick was a member of the Moxham Church of the Brethern. At Rick’s request, there will be no services.
