Obituary

Clark, Robert J. “Bob”, 67, of Armagh, passed away on June 22, 2024, at IRMC. Born December 7, 1956, in Johnstown, son of Robert E. and Helen (Urban) Clark. Preceded in death by mother, Helen. Survived by his 3 sisters, Terri (Ronald) Thomas, Peggy (John) Graham, both of Homer City, and Gayle (Dave) Buck, of Johnstown; nieces and nephews, Carly (Derek) Krouse, Mitchell Thomas, David Buck, and Kayla (Sean) Phillips; great-nephews, Chase, Conway, and Cole; great-niece, Tensley; and best friend, Denny Marsh. Bob was a 1974 graduate of United High School. He worked for Urban’s Partition & Remodeling Co., where he retired as part of the Painters & Allied Trades Union out of Detroit. After moving back to Pennsylvania, post-retirement, he enjoyed working for Tri-County Transportation as a van driver and greatly cared about the students he traveled with throughout the years. Bob was an avid reader, golfer, and lover of all things sports — except for the Pittsburgh Penguins. He was a ‘know-it-all’, who really did seem to know it all, yet he still possessed a great sense of humor. Bob also loved to play cards and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, where he previously served on the church council. Bob was an active member of the church’s Outreach Committee. A celebration of life service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 6810 US-22, New Florence, PA 15944, on June 29th at 11 A.M. Pastor Craig Hess, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
