Obituary

Strazisar, Robert J., 69, Parkhill, passed away November 3, 2023. Born November 2, 1954, to the late Frank and Elsie (Milavec) Strazisar.

Survived by his loving wife of 50 years Corinne (Harteis) Strazisar; children, Robert T. (Jessica Ocipa), Katie (William) Mitchell; brothers, Frank (Linda Galayda), Daniel (Connie Thomas); grandchildren, Erick, Elsa and Ethan Strazisar, Benjamin, and Alexander Mitchell; father & mother in-law, Paul (Cora Crum) Harteis; brother in-law, Samuel (Paige Suder) Harteis and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Robert retired from Bethlehem Steel, Bar Tech, and Republic Tech as a 3rd helper on the Open Hearth and Electric Furnace Operator. He also drove Bus for 46 years for McIllwain Bus Line and Ribblett Corporation, Bus number 6. He was a member of the Church of the Transfiguration in Conemaugh and volunteered at St. Gregory’s fish fries. Family and Friends will be received Tuesday November 7th from 2p.m. to 4p.m., and 6p.m. to 8p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday November 8th at Church of the Transfiguration. Rev. Robert Hall, officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
