Obituary

Schropp, Rodney E. Sr., 70, of Johnstown passed away December 10, 2020 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born August 3, 1950 to the late Edward and Catherine (Naylor) Schropp. He is preceded in death by parents; and loving wife Georgann C. (Ellsworth) Schropp. Rodney is survived by his sons, Rodney E. Schropp and wife Rose, of Southfork; and Jason Schropp and wife Kim, of Southfork; step-daughters Anette Oakes, of Johnstown; Sherrie Sharp, of Johnstown; and Tammy Gido and husband John, of Beaver, PA; siblings, David Allen Schropp Sr; Edith (Schropp) Gary; John Paul Schropp; Robert Schropp; and Brenda Lee (Schropp) Kurten; grandchildren, Steven Wagstaff, of Southfork; Dan Skiles, of Patton; Amanda Knepper, of Southfork; Riley Schropp, of Sidman; and Megan Schropp, of Southfork; and 7 step-grandchildren. Rodney was a member of the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. He was a member of the S.E.S.
