Obituary

Carney, Rosalie, 87, Johnstown, passed away December 29, 2023, at Windber Hospice. Born September 16, 1936, to the late Harry and Rosalie (Stutzam) Graybill. Preceded in death by husband, Lee Carney and great granddaughter, Finley. Survived by children, Jeff Carney; Kim Dishong (John); Sandy Natta (Barry); grandchildren, Justine; Kristy (George); Aleah (Tyler); Stephanie (Jesse); Lauren (Devin); great grandchildren, Noah, Riley, Logan, Mason, Jaxson, Elynn; brother, Chuck Graybill (Barb); and nieces, nephews, and extended family. Rosalie was a member of Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren. She loved cats, flowers, and was an avid hockey fan. Rosalie was very home oriented and very involved in her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren’s lives. Special thank you to Windber Hospice and the staff at Conemaugh 8 Rose and Palliative Care Unit for the compassionate care they provided to Rosalie. Family will receive friends Tuesday January 2nd from 3 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. Pastor Rob Wolf, officiating.
