Obituary

Barr, Sally Jo, 80, Mineral Point, passed away May 9, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family. Born September 24, 1939 to the late Joseph E. and Emaline M. (Garis) Hawksworth. Preceded in death by her parents; her son, Donald Barr Jr.; her brother, Donald C. Hawksworth. Survived by her daughter Shelley Fyock (Wes Lauffer); son Adam Barr; grandchildren, Dana Sherman (Michael), Morgan Barr, Ruben Ray (Joyce), Danny Cessna (Brittney); eight great grandchildren, daughter in law, Michele Barr; and other members of her extended family. Sally Jo was a member of Nanty Glo Methodist church, was an avid reader, and enjoyed crochet and needle point. At her request there will be no services, and interment will be private. A memorial for Sally will be held at a later date.
