Obituary

Swope, Sherry J. (Smith), 70, passed away on April 10, 2024, at home with husband of 38 years, Edward “Edna”, by her side. Born June 6, 1953, daughter of Sam and Blanche Smith. Preceded in death by her father, Sam Smith; sister, Sue; brothers, Lyle and Jeff; father-in-law, Edward Swope; mother-in-law, Ada Swope; sisters-in-law, Evelyn and Rose Ann; and brother-in-law Terry. Sherry was survived by her husband, Edward “Edna” Swope; son, Shawn; mother, Blanche Smith; grandchildren, Austin, Cheyenne, and Paige; sisters, Lila, Darlene, and April (Mike); brothers, Donald and Wess; step-mother-in-law, Margaret; sisters-in-law, Janice, Debi, Sally, Donna, Judy (Dave), Beth Ann, and Regina (Mike); brothers-in-law, Edward (Jess) and Mark (Barbara); and many nieces and nephews. Sherry will be deeply missed by those in her life. At Sherry’s request, there will be no visitation or services. Donations may be made to the funeral home, please no flowers.
