Matolyak, SueAnn, 84, Johnstown, suddenly left us and took up residency with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Nov. 25, 2017. Born Jan. 6, 1933 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by parents, Nellie Darby Mitchell; and William and Clara Shingler; brothers, Leroy and Clyde Shingler; and sisters, June Nida; Florence Johns; and Grace Farkas. Survived by husband, Joseph Matolyak; sons, Rev. Donald Matolyak and wife, Sharon, Mt. Vernon OH; James Matolyak and fiancé, Michele Phillips, Carlisle PA; brothers, Robert Darby and wife, Mary, Trenton MI; James Darby and wife, Shirley; and Raymond Darby, all of Johnstown; grandchildren, Carissa Shaw and husband Joshua, Mt. Vernon OH; Philip Matolyak and wife, Shawna, Gainesville GA; Andrew Matolyak; Kristi Harned and husband, Brian; Eric Matolyak and fiancé, Britney Kelly, all of New Cumberland PA; great grandchildren, Willow Shaw; Elijah Matolyak; and many nieces and nephews. SueAnn was a member of Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship. Her life was centered around her family, her church, and serving the Lord. Friends will be received Thurs. Nov. 30 from 4-7 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 1521 Frankstown Rd., where a service will then be held Fri. at 10 a.m. Pastor Gary L. Tustin, officiating.
