Obituary

Thiel, Tara Lynn, 50, Johnstown, passed away October 15, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 28, 1970 to James and Cynthia (Long) Thiel. Preceded in death by sister, Melissa Thiel. Survived by parents; siblings, Wendy Ramirez and husband Ron; Scott Thiel and wife Stephanie; Todd Thiel; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and beloved cat, Lucy. Tara was formerly employed by Greater Johnstown School District as a teacher’s aide. At the family’s request, there will be no viewing or service. Donations may be made in Tara’s memory to the Cambria County Humane Society.
