Obituary

Potts, Ted, 80, Johnstown, passed away December 20, 2024, at St. Jude’s Haven. Born March 31, 1944, to the late Earl Potts and Alyce (Berry) Potts Pekala. Preceded in death by wife, Nancy (Zimmer) Potts. Survived by children, Thomas Potts (Paula); Jennifer McCormick (John); Erin Fetterman (Scott); stepdaughter, Lori; grandchildren, Kyle, Noelle (Dakota), Allison (Joshua), Brooke, Sarah, Julianne, Katelyn, Lindsay, Lexi, Laci, Ashlyn, Preston, and TJ; great granddaughter, Karalyn; and brother-in-law, Philip Zimmer (Pamela). Ted was a proud Vietnam Army veteran. For 50 years he worked for the Tribune Democrat as a journalist. Ted enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers.
