Butala, Thelma R., 87, Vinco, passed away April 17th at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born April 8, 1930 in Nanty-Glo. Daughter of the late Theodore and Mary (Shaffer) Britton. Preceded in death by brothers, Theodore and Richard Britton; and sister, Herminia Hammer. Survived by loving husband, John Butala, Vinco; daughter, Gloria Garver (Robert George), Vinco; son, John Butala and special friend, Francisca, Poway, CA; daughter, Barbara Lloyd (Jeffrey), Cresson; daughter, Carol Hagerich (Kevin), Vinco; brothers, Robert Britton, Phillipsburg, Porter Britton, Mineral Point, and Arthur Britton, Tyrone; sister, Waneda Hancharich, Nanty-Glo; and her special grandchildren, Jeffrey Garver, Ringoes, NJ, Jessica Kabo, Vinco; Jennifer Hagerich, Vinco; and Michael and Kevin Butala, Poway, CA; and 5 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., Nancy Hoover officiating.
