Obituary

Sheehan, Victoria, 64, passed away on April 29, 2025. Born December 29, 1960, daughter of the late John and Doris (Cable) Peruso. Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kevin Sheehan; brother, Richard; and numerous relatives and friends. She is survived by her siblings, Mary, John (Andrea), Joe (Mary), Dan (Kathy), and Bill (Dana) Peruso; children, Nicole (Brian) Stormer, Vanessa (Dwayne) Yoder, and Mark Sheehan; grandchildren, Zoey, Jordan, and Abigail Stormer, Christian and Silas Yoder; and too many nieces, nephews, and cousins to count. Vicki was her mother’s daughter through and through, both enduring a life of hardship and struggle while notoriously being the most fierce and generous woman one could know. She was a keen and tireless caregiver, taking notably exceptional care of her mother, son, and any underdog that needed her. She cared, and every person or animal she came across could sense it and she could sense exactly the kind of care to provide. Patience, encouragement, tough love, mediation, advice, and just a good warm meal were all her specialties. She was a powerful presence in her family, the proverbial village that everyone seeks, influencing and comforting every branch and generation. As a mother, her biggest flaw was not preparing us for life without her. In the simplest terms, she was a genuine, good person. She positively impacted countless people and left the world better than she found it. Her legacy is love, loud and true. She will be missed beyond measure.
