Obituary

RESSLER – Walter N. Jr., 64, Tanneryville, died September 30, 2009 at home. Born September 14, 1945 in Johnstown; son of the late Walter N. Sr. and Beatrice V. (Hess) Ressler.

Survived by wife, Carol L. (Kaufman) Ressler; and children, Michael and friend Joanne Dudash; Robert married to Francine; and Mary Lou married to Ed Majcher, all of Tanneryville. Also, grandchildren, Samantha, Alexis, Michael Jr., Chance, and Colton; special nephew, Brian Adams; brother, William Ressler married to Carol M., Johnstown; sister, Regina and David, New Florence; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Retired Lineman for Penelec and a U.S. Army Veteran.
President of Sandy Bottom Sportsmen’s Club and lifetime member of the NRA. He enjoyed family and friends, hunting and fishing.

Friends received 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. 146 Chandler Ave. where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Rev. Marjorie Kiefer officiating. Interment Benshoff Hill Cemetery with Military Ritual by VFW Menoher Post 155. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sandy Bottom Sportsmen Club or Albright United Methodist Church in memory of Walter.
