Obituary

Hardwick, (Gandy) William, 76, Johnstown, went to sleep February 2, 2019 and will remain asleep until the coming of his Lord and Savior. Born January 29, 1943 in Johnstown. Son of the late Isadore Toni and Gladys Hardrick. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Geraldine (Price) Hardwick; his brother, Reginald Troutman; his sister, Betty Davis. Survived by his children,Tyrone Hardwick, Altoona; Kimberly Hardwick, Johnstown; Candace Price, Johnstown; Kenneth Morrison, Johnstown; Penny Morrison-Robinson (Daniel), Johnstown; Melody Morrison-Harris (Willie B. Sr.); 27 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; he is also survived by Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and other members of extended family, and friends. William graduated from the Law School at Ohio State University. He was formerly employed by General Motors in Ohio. He was also a middleweight boxer. He served in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a great friend to all. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday February, 9 2019  at  Pilgrim Church of God in Christ, 108 Poplar St, Johnstown, PA 15902. Pastor David Myers, Officiating .
